A grand parade, car show, ping pong ball drop, salmon release and artisan fair create Cashmere’s biggest event, Founder’s Day, which has grown since 1979.
Decorated floats holding royalty from Cashmere, Manson, Leavenworth, Odessa and Prosser will glide by in the parade. The parade begins in downtown Cashmere at 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 28.

Kids and some adults scramble to pick up ping pong balls during the Founders' Day Ping Pong Ball Drop Saturday at Riverside Park in Cashmere. All children in their respective age groups received a prize. The grand prizes were two scooters and a radio flyer bike.
